SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: To supervise students in maintaining proper discipline standards during lunch duty; to assist administrator/teachers with non-instructional tasks. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Oversees students during the lunch period. Supervises students during recess/yard duty. AS REQUESTED BY TEACHERS WITH APPROVAL OF THE PRINCIPAL: Calls the home of absent students. Keeps absentee records up-to-date. Decorates bulletin boards in the classroom. Keeps student data processing records (Middle/Junior/High) if applicable. Helps administer first aid to students when necessary. Operates ditto, mimeograph, laminator, and copying machines and other office machines. Types tests, reports, and any other materials needed if applicable. Grades test papers and workbooks. Updates cumulative folders with principal/teacher approval. Completes student referrals as needed. Writes behavior reports with administrative approval. Administrator must co-sign report.
