Overview and Responsibilities: The Career Adviser supports the retention, graduation, and career success of Saint Marys University students by collaborating with faculty and staff across the university to develop and deliver comprehensive, impactful, and inclusive career and professional development initiatives that engage students in all aspects of their development and career readiness. The Career Adviser will develop and implement career focused events, deliver presentations, and hold career advising appointments. This position reports to the Director of Career Services. To ensure accessibility and inclusiveness of services, the Career Adviser role is dynamic and flexible including occasional evening/weekend career programming, the possibility of late afternoon/early evening appointments, and use of varied modalities (in-person, remote/virtual). Occasional travel to our Minneapolis campus, Rochester campus and the Twin Cities for programs (i.e., career fairs, networking events, etc.

Overview and Responsibilities: JOB SUMMARY The Admission Counselor and Events Coordinator works from the Winona campus and is the primary student recruiter and admission representative for an assigned domestic territory. This counselor represents the residential college of Saint Marys University in Winona, Minnesota. This individuals role is to nurture, develop and enhance relationships with prospective students and their families as well as provide recruitment and financial aid information throughout the admission process. As a core responsibility, the counselor also serves as the primary organizer of group recruitment events for the campus. This position maintains a strong connection to the Winona campus, especially those who support campus events. The Admission Counselor participates in both remote and on-campus recruitment events, is responsible for some evening and weekend on-campus office responsibilities.
