This role involves evaluating patients, developing and modifying care plans, providing treatments, and educating patients and families. Requirements Schedule patients and meetings, adjusting as necessary to meet departmental needs. Evaluate musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and functional problems, identifying treatment needs. Develop and modify care plans, involving patients and families in goal setting. Provide physical therapy treatments, including modalities, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training. Educate patients, residents, and families about dysfunction, treatment, and wellness maintenance. Delegate tasks to physical therapy assistants and support staff, providing training and supervision.
