Job Description Job Description Position Summary: The Cash Applications Specialist will be responsible for accurately recording and applying incoming donations and contributions. This person will ensure that donor gifts are properly accounted for, donor intent is respected, and our internal records remain current and clean. Experience in handling cash receipts, especially in a non-profit or donation-focused setting, is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Process daily donations received via check, ACH, wire, credit card, and online platforms Apply incoming donations accurately to the appropriate donor accounts and campaigns/funds Collaborate with development and donor relations teams to ensure alignment on donor intent Investigate and resolve unidentified or misapplied payments Maintain accurate records and documentation in financial and donor management systems Assist with monthly reconciliation of donation activity and support annual audits Uphold financial compliance and interna
