St. Kenneth or, Canice, whose feast is celebrated on October 11th, was an abbot from Scotland and Ireland (from approximately 599 AD). He was chosen patron for our Parish, located on Haggerty Road between Five Mile and Schoolcraft. St. Kenneth Parish was established on June 21, 1967 by the Archbishop John Dearden.
