Description JOB SUMMARY Provides direct and indirect patient care in the office/clinical setting. Assists nursing and medical staff with routine examinations and patient treatments. Provides relief support to the receptionist when needed. Reports to Physician Practice Administrator. Non-Exempt position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs Licensed Vocational Nurse/Certified Medical Assistant duties within the LVN/CMA scope of practice. Provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a physician. Ensures accurate and complete documentation in the EHR in a timely manner. Evaluates outcomes, consults with other health team members as required and adjusts nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care Performs assessment on patients prior to being seen by physician. This includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and the general patient population, including pain assessment using valid pain scale.
