Job Summary: To prepare surfaces to be coated by using various methods (abrasive, blasting, high pressure water washing, or power wire brushing). Operate both hand and spray-painting equipment to apply protective coatings to manufactured items. Responsibilities and Duties: Prepares material for painting, includes sandblasting, cleaning and surface preparation, removal of paint, and applying grease to surfaces as required Mixes paints and applies the proper procedures and specifications for brush or spray gun. Operates painting equipment per procedures/specifications Sand Blast/Paint - includes changing paint/blast booth filters as needed. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
