About the Company Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking an Upstream Process Development Scientist for a biopharma/biotech company in near Southwest Houston. The Upstream PD Scientist will focus on the planning, execution, and analysis of studies targeted to support our client’s viral vector platform. The role will focus on developing early stage production process for recombinant AAV vector preparations for improved gene delivery. Job functions will include routine cell expansion, cell screening, identifying conditions best for production of viral vector(s) in small scale that meet quality criteria. Other job functions may include laboratory maintenance, procurement of essential consumables, and cross-collaborative assistance with downstream process development and Pre-clinical groups.
