History of The Condominium Group, Inc. The Condominium Group, Inc. can trace it's roots back to 1926 when Frank Hachtel started in business as Frank Hachtel, Realtor, a general real estate brokerage firm in Flint, Michigan. Bruce G. Pollock joined the firm in 1948, which by that time had diversified into land development, home construction and residential brokerage. Mr. Pollock partnered with Mr. Hachtel in 1950 and formed Hachtel-Pollock, Realtors. The firm was incorporated as Hachtel-Pollock, Inc. in 1960. In 1960 Mr. Pollock added real estate management to the list of residential and commercial brokerage services. In 1972 the firm moved to Grand Blanc, Michigan and changed the corporate name to Bruce G. Pollock & Associates, Inc. in 2001 James Evans, CPM® purchased Bruce Pollock and Associates from Mr. Pollock where he remained on the staff until his passing in 2007. The Pollock team has managed condominiums for over 50 years. In 2014 The Condominium Group was formed as a division of Bruce Pollock and Associates. The division was added as a way to market our services. The company experienced exponential growth and in 2018, it was spun off into its own stand alone company. The two companies, although separate, work harmoniously together as the services they provide compliment each other. The partnership between the two companies is demonstrated by the dual logo and their commitment to service. The Condominium Group, Inc. is jointly owned and operated by Heather Jakeway , CPM® and James Evans, CPM®.
