Thoro places its greatest emphasis on the quality of our cartons and customer satisfaction with over 40 years of service to the medical, pharmaceutical, biomedical, cosmetic and high technology industries. We specialize in partnering with our customers to help them reach their goals. Our customers have enjoyed ordering flexibility, single unit pricing, award winning design capabilities and the highest degree of service and quality products available. Our continuous improvement programs are built on using teamwork and problem solving techniques. Thoro is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company. In 1967, Macy Dabek had a vision. He saw a need for a quality short-run folding carton company in Southern California. Equipped with very little cash and a lot of determination, Macy Dabek founded Thoro Packaging. His desire was to focus only on folding cartons and to be the best in the market place. So, in January 1968 with a single one color printing press, one small die cutter and Mrs. Dabek with glue bottle in hand, Thoro Packaging became a reality! The following three years brought success to Thoro, which resulted in the move to a larger facility. Continued growth resulted in the addition of an adjacent building. Then in July of 1990, Thoro Packaging's success again resulted in another move to our current 54,000 square foot facility located in Corona, California, where Thoro currently has a team of 135 employees.
