Responsibilities: Proactively manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and minimizing bad debt exposure and follow up on past due invoices. Communicate with customers to resolve past due or delinquent accounts through phone calls, emails, and formal collection letters. Negotiate and establish payment arrangements with past-due customers, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon terms. Research and address customer claims, disputes, and deductions, making adjustments as necessary. Recommend accounts for escalation, including referral to third-party collection agencies or legal action. Prepare and present reporting and insights on credit risk, delinquency trends, and overall collections performance. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, finance, customer service and warehouse legal to support credit and collection processes and timely resolution of exception payments and deductions.
