Overview: The Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling at Utah State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a specialization in school-based academic interventions for students on the autism spectrum and with related disabilities. This hire is part of a college-wide effort within the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services to address educational and health disparities in society. Overview: The person in this position will assist Weber County Extension Agent and Ogden Botanical Gardens manager with garden maintenance, planting educational demonstration plots, supporting Master Gardener volunteers, and assisting with Extension events. Responsibilities: Weekly maintenance in the gardens (weeding, fertilizing, planting, harvesting, pruning, and organizing tools). Assist volunteers during workdays at the gardens.
