West Virginia Public Theatre (WVPT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit theatre organization based out of Morgantown, West Virginia. Founded in 1985 by Dr. Ron Iannone as the Lakeview Theatre, WVPT is now known across the country as the only professional theatre in West Virginia. In our 27 year history, we have enriched the lives of more than 800,000 patrons through the beauty of live theatre. During our annual summer season, we produce as many as seven shows, as well as special shows throughout the year. Each show is carefully cast and designed using theatrical professionals from all reaches of the United States.
