Overview: The successful individual for this position will become a member of the heavy equipment and trucking (HETR) training programs in Blanding, Utah, that are part of the Technical Design and Technical Education (TDTE) Department at Utah State University. This individual is responsible to keep the maintenance schedule and tracking current, complete routine maintenance and repairs for the fleet of heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, construction equipment and heavy equipment. This individual should have a Class A CDL and basic machine operation experience for the sake of maneuvering the vehicles in and out of the service areas. The individual accepting this position must have excellent written and oral skills with the capabilities of using a computer for record keeping, diagnostic equipment, communication, parts and inventory ordering, and other computer related duties.
