Duties
Under the direction of the Senior Pastor of Horace Lutheran Church, the After School Program Director will be responsible for maintaining the coordination, implementation, and administration of the After School Program.

The specific duties of the Program Director include carrying forth prudent fiscal management, participation in staff development, and program development.

S/he will provide a safe, nurturing, and well-supervised after school program; be the liason with parents, and display the church and program positively.

This position is responsible for planning and development of the creative learning environment, establishment of interest centers, and preparation of needed materials and supplies.

The Program Director’s ability to establish authority through leadership, communication, and most importantly patience, will be required in giving our students the stability and nurturing atmosphere they need to succeed.

Qualifications
Early Childhood Degree, Childhood Development Associate (CDA), or pursuing a CDA.
Previous experience working with students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and the ability to adapt to meet the needs of individual students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
