"Director, IT Infrastructure & Operations in a roll-up-your-sleeves environment, overseeing the organization's internal IT landscape, including multiple office locations infrastructure, and networking, with a strong background in deploying technology solutions and providing leadership and mentorship to Team members.
Responsibilities
• Provide guidance and effective enterprise systems administration, including AD design, DHCP scope configuration, DNS architecture, GPO deployment, tests, etc., by owning business critical infrastructure and applications, including on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to eliminate repetitive tasks.
• Implement reliable disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Provide project management for specific projects and lead a team of system engineers.
• Work in collaboration with the Security team to monitor and maintain appropriate Cybersecurity controls and ensure Operational Security.
• SME designing, deploying, and maintaining Windows Operating Systems, AD, DHCP, LDAP, SCCM, WSUS, DNS, NTP, CA, GPO, and related core infrastructure components in an enterprise environment.
• Manage technical engineering group, overseeing L2/L3 escalation tickets.
• Establish best practices throughout the entire technical support process.
• Follow up with customers to identify areas of improvement.
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the team’s productivity.
• Provide customer feedback to the appropriate internal teams, like product developers.
Skills
• Excellent networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
• Great knowledge and working experience in managing Azure, O365, Active Directory, domain resolution, etc.
• SME in Windows server solutions, including OS installation, domain configuration, and AD architecture (GPO, AD schema, certificate-based authentication, PKI, etc.).
• SME in VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or similar solutions.
• Proven project management abilities to guide complex projects and the ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience.
• Great experience managing Teams, evaluating performance, recruiting, and training.
Communications/Leadership
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create work relationships across multiple areas, engaging with stakeholders, vendors and suppliers, their teams, and other employees.
• Ability to identify and prioritize activities for Team members.
• Ability to motivate, guide, and develop Team members.
Education/Technology
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• ITIL, CITP, MCSE, CompTIA A , or other security certifications desired."
