What you will do
Intermex is seeking a Director of Infrastructure to be seated in our Miami Office (Hybrid). This individual will architect, design, plan, organize, and ensure the stable operation of the company’s IT infrastructure. This includes key functional areas of cloud operations, data center management, database systems, telecommunications, and audio-video technologies. This position will also schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software incidents in a timely and accurate fashion, with root cause analysis to mitigate future risk.
The scope includes ensuring system availability, stability, resilience, and scalability. Disaster recovery and business continuity are core to the responsibilities of this position. You will collaborate directly with the executive management team and decision-makers in other departments to identify, recommend, implement, and support cost-effective infrastructure technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This individual will manage, mentor, and guide a highly skilled team of engineers to achieve the vision, mission, and goals of the IT Infrastructure team. This role also assists with providing vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives across all areas of the organization, including acquisitions and expansions.
