Account Management Director manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Director ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Director sets sales targets and quotas and makes recommendations for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Account Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Position Summary:

    The Account Management Coordinator reports to the Director of Client Relations. This position will provide internal support to the assigned Account Executives, assisting with new and existing client issues in relationship to the management and administration of client accounts.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Track and trend issues to determine common issues that require process improvement.
    • Responsible for assisting all departments with seamless customer support.
      • Resolve Client issues, by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and coordinating with other departments/vendors.
      • Review Contract Specifications.
        • Assist with creation and distribution of SBC’s, SOBs and Plan Amendments to appropriate departments.
        • Coordination and creation of client/broker requested reports.
        • Preparation of open enrollment meeting materials.
        • Other possible duties as may be assigned.

          • Preserve the confidentiality of all business-sensitive information, including but not limited to that of insured groups and individuals, employees and applicants.
          • Adheres to established safety standards and utilizes proper techniques to avoid work-related injuries.

    • Greet all people in a prompt and courteous manner. Communicate in a warm and courteous manner, making eye contact and speaking in a tone of voice that matches words.
    • Ask customers what they need and strive to exceed their expectations. Offer and provide assistance whether or not the request falls within your specific job duties.
    • Assist customers through the insurance claims submission/enrollment experience.
      • Respond to customer and producer requests in a timely manner, returning calls promptly and keeping them informed of delays before they ask.
      • Make decisions based on customer needs, opinions, complaints or suggestions.
      • Take appropriate steps to resolve problems to the customer's or producer's satisfaction.
      • Ask customers for their opinions, accepting criticism as an opportunity to improve service.
        • Seek opportunities, provide value-added services, and eliminate tasks that do not serve our customer.
        • Remain aware of products and services provided by Consociate Health.
        • Project a positive, professional image when working.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor degree in health, business or related field or comparable work experience.
    • Understanding of the Insurance Industry, marketing and sales.
    • Licensing in Life, Health and Accident.
    • Excellent human relations skills.
      • Must be articulate, possess a professional business manner and have excellent organizational and communication skills.
      • Strong ability to identify appropriate resources for research and problem resolution.
