Account Management Director manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Director ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Director sets sales targets and quotas and makes recommendations for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Account Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     About the Team: 

     

    Our Director of Account Management works closely with a team of Physician Advisors, ACO Clinical Support Specialists, Telehealth Medicine teams, and ACO senior leadership. They will also work closely with our ACO participating providers and post-acute care facilities, including facility and physician group management teams.

     

    About the Role: 

     

    This role is responsible to drive and achieve the performance goals of the ACO at the provider and facility level. The Director of Account Management serves as the primary point of contact for developing long-term relationships with ACO participants, providers, and facilities. This position provides engagement leadership and is regarded by the client as an expert and trusted advisor. The Director of Account Management will play a major role in the ACO’s national growth by identifying opportunities within existing participants and possessing the ability to recommend additional areas of value-add for the ACO’s participants.

     

    The Details: This is a virtual, work-from-home opportunity.  

     

    In this role, you will be responsible for: 

    • Delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis, proactively anticipating the client’s needs
    • Identifying and recommending to ACO leadership on areas of growth opportunities for ACO participants
    • Tracking and managing engagement activities to align and achieve the goals of the organization
    • Coordinating and scheduling partner success meetings, such as Joint Operating Committees and performance reviews
    • Leading the support of the on-boarding of new clients from business development handoff, Telemedicine handoff, and to go-live
    • Assisting providers and facilities with the installation, utilization, education, and training of the ACO population health platform
    • Engaging participants to collect and submit required demographic data
    • Establishing and engaging participants on their monthly ACO performance reports from the ACO population health platform
    • Preparing monthly performance reports for ACO executive team on accounts that are performing well and underperforming
    • Preparing individualized performance reports for providers and facilities
    • Working with ACO Clinical leadership on preparing monthly/quarterly JOC slides for the participant groups
    • Collaborating with the ACO clinical team, operations teams, Telemedicine team, and vendors to identify improvement opportunities for ACO participants
    • Managing other duties as assigned

    • Knowledge of Medicare, ACO, Medicaid, HMO, Private Insurance and/or No Insurance coverage

     

    Experience: 

     

    • 2 years of experience with business development, healthcare program management and/or clinical case management
