Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager manages the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions of an organization to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Reviews and evaluates the accounts payable and receivable registers to validate charges and ensure timely and accurate payments and receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager monitors account aging reports, identifies delinquent accounts, and refers accounts to collection agencies. Verifies customer credit limits and applicable payment terms. Additionally, Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager designs and implements standard policies and procedures to ensure accurate and compliant financial records. Audits methods and procedures of the accounts payable and receivable functions to improve efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Summary

    The Account Manager must sell CEMEX's line of products and act as a CEMEX business representative in the marketplace. The Account Manager is also responsible for the profitability of their accounts.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external and internal customers.
    • Develop account sales that meet the market mix targets set by the Company.
    • Compile market information to validate market mix targets, or suggest changes.
    • Negotiate agreements with customers to attain the highest possible unit selling prices and profits.
    • Manage customer expectations of the product ordering and delivery process, credit agreement and payment terms among others.
    • Participate in sales meetings and other scheduled events.
    • Update monthly sales forecast
    • Participate in the development of future project bids.
    • Adhere to all Cemex requirements for pricing and quotations, vehicle and expense account management, and customer file management.
    • Adhere to all CEMEX and O.S.H.A. rules and regulations at all times and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
    • Meet or exceed company safety standards
    • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

    Qualifications

    • Three years related sales experience preferred.
    • Bachelor degree in a related field preferred.
    • Experience in aggregate, asphalt industry and related products sales a plus.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Computer literate and able to use existing systems and grow into company networked program of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • SAP experiences a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills and attention to details
    • Strong organizational skills with analytical/problem solving ability.
    • Able to maintain strict confidentiality and work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.

    Working Conditions

    • Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
    • Must wear protective equipment while at the location

    Physical Requirements

    • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
    • Heavy Work-Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
