A Day in the Life of an Aviation Scheduler:
As our Aviation Scheduler, you'll be responsible for coordinating and managing flight schedules, ensuring crew and aircraft availability for missions. You will handle all scheduling details from start to finish, anticipate team needs, and ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Take incoming flight requests and schedule crews accordingly.

Adjust schedules for crew training, sick days, PTO, and replacements.

Assist with flight cancellations and reroutes.

Select the right crew and aircraft for each mission.

Ensure hangar availability in case of bad weather.
-
Coordinate with FBOs for early or late arrivals.

Manage required PPRs, slots, NOTAMs, and weather checks.

Proactively handle potential delays, crew legality issues, or maintenance concerns.

Track crew duty times to comply with Federal regulations.

Work with Maintenance on aircraft positioning, cleaning, and test flights.

Submit post-flight expense reports and ensure all logs are completed.

Ensure compliance with all safety standards and Part 135 regulations.

Handle special projects and additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in aviation, crew management, or customer service.

Strong work ethic and integrity.

Knowledge of FAR Part 91/135 regulations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Proficient with industry-specific software and ability to learn new tools.

Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
