AR Farms is a rapidly growing custom farming business that is currently recruiting drivers for the 2024 harvest season! Being a small family-owned farming business, we understand the importance of a balanced family-work life. AR Farms is looking for the most efficient, dependable and honest CDL A drivers in the business to join our grain & harvest driving crew. Applicants can be living in any location that is commutable to the Wadena site to pick up assigned truck or possibly to park truck at home.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safely operate a variety of trucks, including 2019 and newer Volvo and Mack with Automatic Transmissions
• Safely operate a variety of trailers, including hopper bottoms.
• Transport grain and farm materials around MN and surrounding areas
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of freight
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating commercial vehicles
• Perform routine inspections on trucks and trailers to ensure they are in proper working order
• Communicate and coordinate with the farm crew and staff
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information

Job Requirements:
Hiring requirements:

• Class A CDL with 2 years minimum driving experience
• Not cited for a DOT preventable accident in the past three years
• No drugs/alcohol or moving violations in the past three years
• Willing to drive and work as a team
• Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
• Good communication skills and strong problem-solving skills
