Auditing Project Lead leads a group of auditors who identify risk, assess performance, prepare financial reports in various complex auditing projects. Schedules audit plans and builds audit criteria, ensures all auditing activities in accordance with organization's policies and standards. Being an Auditing Project Lead prepares auditing reports and suggestions to management. Provides oversight and guidance for auditors and may be responsible for training staff. Additionally, Auditing Project Lead ensures standard auditing practices are followed. Requires a bachelor's degree. May sometimes require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA)credential. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Auditing Project Lead supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Auditing Project Lead typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

    • Direct, manage and build high performing teams executing projects within the Manufacturing Solutions practice areas across various client sites/locations with overall responsibility for technical solutions, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
    • Represent Manufacturing Solutions collaborating with partners as a trusted Partner, Account, Site and/or Project Owner.
    • Set and lead project direction and strategy based on client vision and expected outcomes throughout the entire project delivery life cycle.
    • Lead initiatives and projects by ensuring Team Members understand team and individual goals and responsibilities, managing priorities, and ensuring timely and high-quality completion of work.
    • Develop project schedules based on client needs in MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheets and/or other applicable scheduling tools. Project schedules may cover but are not limited to:
    • Construction
    • CQV
    • Tech Transfer
    • Operational Readiness
    • Lead schedule workshops driving scope and understanding of the entire project life cycle applying lessons learned where applicable.
    • Collaborate with cost controls to map various milestones to a forecast.
    • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in project management and schedule development providing technical direction, training, career development, and performance assessments for project Team Members.
    • Mentor, train, and coach team members in client engagement, relationship management, and leadership.
    • Build and maintain high performing teams ensuring successful account management and growth.
    • Lead strategic succession planning to ensure the readiness of future leaders.
    • Develop strategies for the success of the service line or market target such as planning, scheduling, estimating, monitoring, progress measurement, risk management, training, and reporting procedures.
    • Manage new and existing client accounts, focusing on project delivery, actively seeking to maintain and grow accounts inline with organizational growth targets.
    • Apply understanding of Manufacturing Solutions target industries including how each sector works together, interdependencies, emerging trends, and key challenges to strategic initiatives.
    • Cultivate relationships within and outside of client project team to support account and broader goals.
    • Maintain business development data within customer relationship management (CRM)

    Qualifications:
    Education and Experience Required:

    • B.S. or M.S. in Life Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline and/or comparable military experience.
    • Typically, a minimum of 8 years of advanced therapy, life science, pharmaceutical, or biotech experience.
    • Typically, 6 years of managing high-performing teams.
    • Typically, 4 years business development, lead generation, or sales experience.
    • Experience translating client visions to set the direction, frame the project, provide clarity to direct reports and client, and deliver results.

    Other Required:

    • Travel as needed to fulfill Business Development and Team Member initiatives.
    • Experience operating as a trusted strategic advisor to organization decision-makers on short and long-term organizational initiatives.
    • Experience translating client visions to set the direction, frame the project, provide clarity to direct reports and client, and deliver results
    • Proven technical/managerial capabilities in developing solutions to engineering and business problems and managing deliverables and client expectations

    Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
