Bookkeeper, Sr. jobs in Nevada

Looking for a well-rounded individual to join our accounting team as an Accounting Specialist to assist with all aspects of accounting. The ideal applicant must have a strong QuickBooks background, be self-motivated, be able to follow directions, work independently and pay close attention to detail.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with Accounts Payable including the coding, organizing and input of invoices to ensure bills are paid on time
• Record Accounts Receivable transactions including payments received
• Calculate monthly tax reports and prepare payment
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Assist with and coordinate facility maintenance, company vehicle maintenance and maintain maintenance logs
• Produce monthly financial reports
• Assist with month end closing, including the balance and reconciliation of accounts
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Follow internal accounting procedures and policies to ensure financial security is maintained

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Proficient in Quick Books Pro/Premier with a minimum of 3 years
• Experience working in a fast-paced, continually changing work environment while successfully meeting goals set by management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Key characteristic traits: integrity, ambition, initiative
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Ability to multitask with efficient time management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Must past a criminal background check
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have transportation

COMPENSATION:

• Competitive compensation dependent on work experience and education
