Primary Responsibilities:
The primary focus of the MOSAIC Catering & Events Producer is managing catering and event bookings, coordination/planning, and the production of the event. This position is responsible for the lifecycle of their events, with support from other departments and teammates, ensuring customer satisfaction and that all MOSAIC standards of service and quality have been met.
Major Duties:
Responding to client inquiries, booking new events, coordination and management of currently booked event business
Utilize catering software, event planning tools and resources, maintain detailed and thorough event documents and account management
Knowledge of food, beverage, events, and hospitality best practices with a willingness to learn and develop as necessary
Conduct venue walk-throughs, menu tastings, client consultations
Develop and maintain relationships with event venues and planners
Ensure accurate pricing of proposals, contract and event documents in order to achieve established sales and profitability goals
Assist in the execution of all trade events, American Heart Ball and other large events that require full team support as needed
As needed, assist fellow sales team members grow the business and Mosaic brand; this at times may include traveling to Mosaic’s other locations within Virginia and South Carolina
