  • Multi-Unit operator is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team.

    In this position, the ideal candidate will :

    • Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards in the ktichen.
    • Have 7 years experience in culinary arts, including previous experience managing BOH high-volume, upper casual dining and banquets.
    • Demonstrate a working understanding of business operations and financials including ability to manage costs, control expenses and maintain financial goals while delivering and extraordinary dining experience to guests.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of best practices for menu development, costing, ordering, and inventory procedures
    • Possess a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills, inspiring and motivating the BOH team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
    • Monitor food production to maintain consistency in taste and presentation
    • Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes
    • Oversee inventory control and ordering of food supplies
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
    • Handle customer inquiries or concerns regarding food quality or dietary restrictions

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a high-volume, upper casual or fine dining restaurant or banquet setting
    • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
    • Proficiency in inventory control and cost management
    • Familiarity with bartending and beverage service is a plus
    • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to various dining preferneces and dietary restrictions
    • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
    • Knowledge of wine and spirits
    • A degree in culinary arts or equivalent culinary education and ServSafe certification is preferred but not required
