CHEF jobs in the United States

Our client is seeking a part-time Private / Personal Chef to cook kosher meals once per week on Fridays in their upper Manhattan home on a weekly basis.

Hourly Rate is $50 per hour. Hours per shift will be 6 hours per day.

Desired Qualifications :

• A culinary school degree / diploma is preferred
• Reside in the NYC - for easy commute into Manhattan & by public transportation only
• Have availability every Friday - No other day is available
• Knowledge / ability to cook for Kosher, gluten-free, some baking, healthy meals, adhere to food allergies, cooking and shopping in-person for all organic, etc.
• A friendly personality, able to effectively communicate with the office and clients directly
• Able to multi-task in the kitchen (must be able to handle multiple dishes cooking at the same time)
• Works clean & follows food safety protocols
• Able to handle criticism
• Ability to lift and carry at least 25lbs
• Able to maintain client privacy / discretion
• Able to work independently
• Must follow the company Covid-19 protocols if requested by the family
