POSITION SUMMARY
4Roots is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Director to join our dynamic team at the Culinary Health Initiative (CHI). As a Clinical Research Director, you will play a key role in advancing our mission by overseeing the development and execution of research studies. This part-time position requires a candidate with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for contributing to impactful health initiatives.
Feasibility Analyses and Project Outline:
· Conduct comprehensive feasibility analyses for proposed studies.
· Develop detailed outlines for research projects aligned with the CHI mission and directives from the Chief Medical Officer.
Grant Support:
· Assist in the preparation of grant applications, actively contributing to the success of funding efforts.
· Ensure strict compliance with grant regulatory requirements, including consent forms, Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval, and ongoing maintenance of study quality.
Study Process Management:
· Collaborate with the research team to facilitate and oversee study activities.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to ensure a smooth and efficient study process.
Regulatory Compliance:
· Take a lead role in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, particularly in the areas of consent forms and IRB approval.
· Maintain high standards of study quality, adhering to ethical guidelines and best practices.
Training and Mentorship:
· Provide support for staff training related to research studies.
· Offer mentorship to research coordinators, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented work environment.
