The Associate Vice President (AVP) is a senior-level management position responsible for capital planning and construction, Facilities services and associated administrative and business services for the District. Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, project management, business or a closely related field and eight (8) years of increasingly responsible relevant work experience with direct accountability for leading design and construction for large-scale projects, with at least three (3) of which were in a supervisory or management capacity; or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. Experience in an academic institution or public agency is preferred. Possession of a Master’s degree or general contractor’s license is preferred.
Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements:
Requires a valid California driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District’s vehicle insurance policy.
