Reporting to the Emergency Department and Trauma Director, the Nursing Manager Trauma oversees the inpatient Trauma Department. Assisting the Nursing Manager with the daily administrative and clinical responsibilities is the TCRN Charge RN Trauma. The unit will be filled with Registered Nurses and Ancillary staff.
At this facility, the Trauma Department is a busy area with lots of growth. The Nursing Manager Trauma oversees this supportive but fast-paced environment, while working with Emergency Medical Professional and other disciplines to ensure adequate care is provided.
The Nursing Manager Trauma completes all clinical and administrative responsibilities in the unit. This Leader will ensure quality metrics and procedural compliance on the floor. When not fulfilling administrative duties, the Trauma Manager hires and trains new RNs for the department.
