    The Associate Director, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a strategic partner to customer facing leaders across the enterprise to ensure that vital business processes are established and supported with technology to enable brand teams to meet their strategic goals and priorities. The role is a key player within the Strategic Field Operations function crucial for supporting current VEEVA technology solutions across Sales, Marketing, US Medical and US Market Access. This individual must work across multiple functions (US IBEX, IT, Sales, Commercial Channels, Brands) to balance the immediate demands with future capabilities needed to deliver the US BBU Business strategy. This individual will play a significant role in shaping and deploying ongoing evolutions in the AZ’s CRM capability, especially with respect to enhancements in our omnichannel capabilities.     What you’ll do:

    • Managing all aspects of Veeva CRM, territory management, account alignments, survey deployment, training, troubleshooting, development of new functionality, and testing/monitoring data quality.
    • Conducting baseline assessments of field capabilities, processes, and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement to achieve operational excellence and gain efficiencies across the globe.
    • Develop and maintain strategic partnership with deployed functional leadership teams connecting long term enterprise vision and capabilities to realization of value in short term actions
    • Partner with key stakeholders to gather, synthesize and prioritize requirements to develop key initiatives for customer-facing solutions with consideration of scalability and ongoing maintenance.
    • Work closely with IT to optimize the effectiveness of AZ technology solutions; continuously and proactively finds opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
    • Plan and implement the testing and deployment for the technology solutions.
    • Develop communications and change management components related to the solutions and tools for Customer-Facing audiences

    Essential Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree; preferably in a relevant subject area
    • 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience or relevant field and work experience
    • Experience with Veeva or other CRM platforms
    • Ability to influence others without authority
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional colleagues at all levels of the organization
    • Highly collaborative and able to build strong relationships with Commercial and IT counterparts

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Medical / Medical Operations Experience
    • Thought leader on current capability building best practices
    • Knowledge of sampling as well as digital marketing and engagement capabilities
    • Knowledge of and experience with project management principles
