We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Management Specialist to join our team. As a Data Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and organizing data, ensuring its accuracy and completeness, and developing tools to streamline processes. This role requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a keen eye for detail.

Requirements:

• Comfortable working with and analyzing data.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Access preferred.
• Strong multitasking abilities with the capacity to prioritize and organize multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable internet connection.

Recurring Duties

• Proof foreign white & yellow page listings for sorting issues and completeness of data
• Scan white page listings for consistency and accuracy.
• Scan, research, and resolve all yellow page report inconsistencies with telephone company.
• Provide system-generated proof to telephone company for changes/corrections.
• Resolve inconsistencies between telephone company and sold contract information.
• Resolve duplicate listing issues.
• Confirm accuracy and completeness of data counts, insertion recipes, scoping rules, and formats.
• Hand off completed white page reports to the Data Management Supervisor upon completion of White Page adjustments.
• Create global search-and-replace tables to automatically handle error correction in future years.
• Maintain documentation of special procedures related to each directory.

Infrequent/Special Projects and Backup Duties

• Assist with keying of foreign yellow page listings for inclusion in each directory.
• Format/convert local files for loading.
• Load local files into the system (backup)
• Assist in creating process automation and reporting tools, using Microsoft Access and Excel to connect to production software’s database system.

Compensation commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
