Development Coordinator jobs in Galveston, TX
Development Coordinator identifies potential donors and evaluates their interests and capacity to give to the organization. Conducts research and prospecting to locate individuals aligning with the organization's values and mission. Being a Development Coordinator analyzes data for trends and creates donor profiles to assist with donor development, stewardship, and direct communications and fundraising strategy. Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. Additionally, Development Coordinator maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Development Coordinator work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Job Duties:
The Workforce Development Coordinator will support Human Resources’ workforce development initiatives through data compilation, event coordination, and basic communication needs, among other tasks. The preferred candidate will have experience in coordinating meetings and events and will have proficiency with Microsoft’s suite of products – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- Coordinates activities of specified projects or programs in support of project aims, goals, or objectives.
- Consult with committees or leadership to plan procedures.
- Gathers data for review and analysis of program design and outcomes.
- Assigns duties, trains, and monitors the progress of those assisting with projects.
- Interprets programs and services to individuals or groups in the community.
- Adheres to internal controls established for the department.
- Performs related duties as required.
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
