Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Development Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's fundraising efforts and strategic development initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to implement fundraising strategies and campaigns
- Conduct research to identify potential donors and funding opportunities
- Assist in grant writing and proposal development
- Manage donor databases and ensure accurate and up-to-date donor records
- Support budgeting and financial tracking for fundraising activities
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns to engage donors and supporters
- Utilize Engage Software

-Maintain the company's corporate image and identity, which includes use of logos and signage.

-Write interesting and effective press releases, prepare information for media kits

-Design and edit promotional publications such as brochures

-Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, government officials, donors, and media representatives

-Develop new business opportunities

-Public Speaking

-Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the team

-Perform other duties as assigned

-Utilize CANVA and/or Adobe Suite Software

-Utilize Microsoft 365
- Assist in organizing fundraising events and activities
- Work closely with the communications team to support public relations efforts
- Contribute to digital marketing initiatives to enhance donor engagement

Experience:
- Proven experience in grant writing, budgeting, and fundraising within a nonprofit setting
- Familiarity with email marketing tools and strategies
- Strong research skills to identify funding opportunities and donor prospects
- Proficiency in managing databases, preferably experience with Engage or similar CRM software
- Knowledge of nonprofit management practices and principles
- Excellent communication skills for public relations and donor stewardship
- Understanding of digital marketing techniques for fundraising campaigns

-Bachelor's degree in a related field or 1-3 years working in a similar position

Pay: $30,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
