Document Control Manager oversees document and record control operations, policies, and procedures for the secure management and access of company information assets. Establishes security protocols for the access, storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all documents. Being a Document Control Manager evaluates media formats and recommends storage requirements to protect and secure records/information. Develops and manages access and control procedures to comply with requirements for varying levels of security classifications specified by the governing authority. Additionally, Document Control Manager maintains auditing, monitoring, and change control systems to ensure document integrity, quality, and version control. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require security clearance. Typically reports to a director. The Document Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Document Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.       • Upload documents.

      • Route documents for review and approval.
    • File and organize documents.
    • Training Coordinator
      • Work with department managers to define and maintain training requirements.
      • Provide training assignments to employees.
      • Track and report on training completion.
    • ECO Coordinator
      • Provide ECO numbers.
      • Review and route ECOs for approval.
      • Track ECO approval.
      • Generate action list after ECO approval.
    • Support Immunoassay Product Realization Process
      • Organize document packets within the Document Management System.
      • Route packets for approval at each defined phase check.
    • Assist with administrative tasks for the audits by completing the following:
      • Retrieving documents, scribing and general support.
    • Collaborate across functions.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience:

    • High School diploma or equivalent and up to 5 years of relevant experience

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Knowledge of Document Management Systems and filing system
      • ARENA Solutions knowledge is a plus
    • Knowledge of safety and company procedures and practices
    • Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and completing data retrieval and data entry.
    • Demonstrate problem solving skills.
    • Ability to be flexible.
    • Ability to act independently on routine assignments or projects.
    • Must have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
    • Must be able to work in a fast-faced environment where multitasking is required.
    • Must work well both independently and in a team environment.
