Summary:
The Director, Physician Marketing will play a central role in creation, activation and management of all programs and activities designed to grow reputation of and referrals to the medical group among physicians and other professional influencers. This position will work in close collaboration with the Administrative Director of Marketing and Medical Group Executive Team to support expanded practice Ideal candidate for this role will have experience in outside sales / physician referral marketing within the healthcare industry. A background in cold calling customers in pharmaceuticals, medical device sales, hospital, home health or long-term care is ideal.
Responsibilities:
* Educates health care professionals and community about provider services. * Develops and maintains relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes and physician offices to generate leads. * Meets short and long-term target goals in alignment with medical group strategic priorities. * Maintains a complete, up-to-date record of targeted referral sources in territory in CRM. * Partners with marketing / outreach teams to promote the medical group at community events. * Partners with patient experience to enhance provider and patient experience. * Manage marketing, branding and advertising functions to physicians on behalf of the health system. * Plan and execute proactive physician referral programs in alignment with the organizations strategic priorities. * Partner with physician leaders and the marketing / PR team to build the organizations national reputation as a place to practice. * Serve as lead physician liaison role to generate referrals and satisfy service needs of referring physicians. * Coordinate marketing opportunities for physicians and medical professionals in alignment with goals. * Work with digital marketing leader, physician / providers, and medical group leaders to ensure top box digital reputation scores and for providers and clinic locations. * Create and implement an ongoing content plan in support of reputation building and referrals. * Assist in the planning and opening of future locations including the launch of new providers. * Work in collaboration with business partners to support growth initiatives. * Generate reports on results, productivity and, when possible, ROI

* BACHELOR'S DEGREE
Other information:
Minimum 7 years of experience in a healthcare related business development / outreach role. * Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required with demonstrated experience. * Extensive experience building brands and marketing to physicians.
* Additional experience in academic medicine, physician relations, brand management * Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, researchers, and industry executives. * Demonstrated ability to build, motivate and effectively activate a team to a high-performance * standard. * Advanced written and verbal communication skills and strong business acumen. * Advanced problem-solving skills
