Employee Performance Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Employee Performance Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Employee Performance Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Employee Performance Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     Summary/Objective
    We are seeking an IT Specialist to support end users with the use of web-based applications and troubleshooting hardware or service connectivity issues. This role will also assist with managing, monitoring, and documenting network infrastructure as well as helpdesk issue tracking.

    Essential Functions

    • Stay up to date with the latest technologies relevant to the role and company offerings.
    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software systems.
    • Set up and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
    • Provide technical support to end-users via phone or email.
    • Assist with the administration of network services.
    • Resolve user issues and requests.
    • Document and track all support activities.
    • Ensure compliance with security protocols and implement necessary measures.
    • Other duties as required.

    Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma required. Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.

    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

    Work Environment, Programs, and Tools

    This position operates in a professional remote environment and requires individual to type, sit, stand, talk, and listen.
    Required knowledge of the following tools, equipment, and programs includes: computers, phones, copier/scanner/fax, and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This position will be hybrid at either our Stennis Space Center, MS, Tallahassee, FL, or Tampa, FL locations for co-working capability. This position is a full time non-exempt position, expected to work 40 hours per week. This position may require evening/weekend work and work outside of the typical work hours when needed to support business needs.

    Travel
    Significant travel is not expected for this role.
