ERP Administrator is responsible for the administration of an organization's ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security. Processes, validates, and maintains ERP data to ensure accurate system records. Being an ERP Administrator monitors ERP security and manages user access and permissions. Assists and supports the planning, testing, and deployment of new ERP modules, upgrades, and patches. Additionally, ERP Administrator documents ERP system processes and may conduct end-user training to promote effective use and best practices. Tracks and manages support requests to ensure timely resolution of issues or bugs. Maintains, generates, and analyses ERP reports to support organizational planning. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Administrator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Summary: *
The ERP Specialist will work closely with the ERP Data Coordinator and the ERP Operations Manager to
create and maintain data within the company’s ERP system.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality and Accounting teams to
maintain accurate costing of materials and subassemblies.
Execute new product release launches by working with Product Development,
Manufacturing, and Finance to set up ERP system with part numbers, BOMs, revisions,
routings, and costing.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of SKU data structure.
Identify deficiencies and errors in the system and work to maintain an accurate data
base.
Works closely with Manufacturing to resolve issues related to the materials list and/or
routings.
Understanding of manufacturing process, supply chain and product components to
successfully configure systems in support of business processes.
Upload data to ERP using Data Loader.
Utilizing ERP system to prepare work orders for Manufacturing.
Respond to requests for information and access relevant files.
Cross-train for various responsibilities/positions within the department.
Other duties as assigned.
