Estate Planning Director directs all aspects of the estate planning function including sales, staffing, and supervision. Participates in training and estate planning workshops. Being an Estate Planning Director ensures that the agency stays abreast of regulatory guidelines and new trends in the field. Researches and advises on tax, technical, and legal questions. Additionally, Estate Planning Director introduces new life products to the field and contributes to design of related software and tools. May be a speaker at insurance conferences or meetings. Requires a bachelor's degree of business, marketing, or mathematics. Typically reports to top management. May require Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). The Estate Planning Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Estate Planning Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.   • Local Ormond Beach law firm seeks hard working detail oriented legal assistant. We seek an individual who has experience with handling a probate administration from the issuance of the letters of administration through the discharge of the estate and the drafting of estate planning documents.

    The ideal applicant must possess the ability to work independently and complete assigned work in a timely manner while handling several cases at one time. Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude with clients and co-workers is a must. Candidates must have prior law firm experience, be proficient in MS Word, comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new software, with a solid employment history.

    Duties include:

    * Prepare correspondence, probate and guardianship pleadings, and other legal documents.

    * E-file pleadings and court documents.

    * Coordinate calendar and schedule appointments.

    * Maintain correspondence with Clients/others.

    * General office administration to support the attorney.
