Job Description

This is a hands-on position in which you will work with the Chefs de Cuisine and the Provisions Retail Manager on a daily basis to create a vibrant, friendly, and creative environment.

You must have a passion for high-quality food. Previous experience strongly preferred but will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef de Cuisines in planning and executing catering events of various sizes
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations during events
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and high-quality menu offerings for the Provisions retail store
• Manage food preparation, presentation, and delivery to meet client expectations
• Oversee inventory control and ordering supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a high standard of performance

Requirements

• Culinary degree or equivalent certification
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Creative and adaptable to diverse culinary preferences
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Able to lift 50 lbs and spend 8 hours walking and standing in a kitchen environment

Compensation

Compensation commensurate with experience.
