Job description

We seek an organized and outgoing person to work in our office to help support our small office & sales staff. This position consists of not only ordinary office duties such as filing and printing forms, answering and routing telephone calls, and data entry. You will be a liaison between Sales and Purchasing staff helping to coordinate special orders and help with researching and sourcing new products. You will also handle a number of accounts that are not assigned to a sales rep. ability to use Word, Excel, and other office software like Sage Accounting is a plus. Pay and benefits discussed during interview.

Monday – Thursday 9:00 AM – approx. 6:30 PM

Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Half hour lunch break

Responsibilities,

• Answer telephones.
• Support Sales and Purchasing staff.
• Take customer call in orders.
• Answer customer questions.
• Make sales calls at pre-determined call time.
• File invoices Daily.
• Break down daily reports and distribute them.
• Maintain supply of office forms, print and replenish when needed.
• Print Statements each day.
• Posting of A/P
• Order data entry.

Ideal candidate would possess:

• 2 years Food Sales experience and Office experience preferred.
• Work well with others.
• Have 10 key pad typing skills.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Have attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal skills.
• Good typing and number pad skills.
• Have basic computer knowledge.
• Have the ability to multi task.
• Work without supervision.
• Willingness to work late when needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
