Plans and oversees installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of products/equipment to ensure proper function and maximize uptime. Being a Field Service Manager oversees the scheduling and training of field service representatives. Handles service contracts and directs support services. Additionally, Field Service Manager develops methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery. Reviews service reports to monitor service performance and enhance customer satisfaction. Ensures all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved, utilizing engineering, manufacturing, and other teams as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Field Service Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. IEP designs explosion protection solutions, manufactures explosion prevention components, and supports customers across the country with responsive service to prevent and/suppress industrial explosions.
This position works with the Field Service Manager to manage Service for the North America Region and support the Field Service Engineers and IEP Customers. Overall responsibilities include: forecasting parts and service needs, scheduling of Field Service team, invoicing Service Calls, managing RMAs for warranty and regular customer communication regarding parts/service/contract renewal.
This position works a Hybrid schedule – 3 days in office, 2 remote each week. Occasional travel possible (<10%).
