Forecast Analyst analyzes inventory levels, production speed, and product demand to determine the amount of finished product that will be produced. Determines the best metrics to use to provide the most accurate representation of the forecast. Being a Forecast Analyst works with other departments within the organization to determine optimal inventory levels. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Forecast Analyst typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Forecast Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Demonstrate an understanding of all processes and policies within our department
Develop, analyze, and maintain statistics to identify staffing trends
Interpret data and communicate findings
Perform reviews of trends, make recommendations, and implement final solutions to improve current processes
Collaborate with internal departments and management team to implement changes
Support department in reaching goals through analysis
Monitor data to identify changes in trends, identify areas for improvement
Create reports and presentations to summarize data results
Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business, or other related field preferred
Previous experience in healthcare or education is a plus
Excellent conceptual and analytical thinking skills are required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team
An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and persuasive skills
Interpersonal Requirements:
Maintain social, ethical and organizational norms
Achieve accomplishment of all task details, no matter how small
Maintain good personal motivation and develop a sense of ownership of job tasks and results
Must have a sense of urgency for all work performed
Ability to work under the pressure of meeting strict deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
