Job description
As Franchise Business Consultant you will provide a broad range of supporting services to current and new franchisees to include operations, strategic business planning, marketing, and training.
● Functions as a trainer, coach and mentor for all franchisees in assigned region.
● Partners with franchisees to create an annual and formalized business plan with targeted strategies, goals and objectives related to sales, profitability and growth results.
● Consults with franchisees to achieve annual strategic initiatives related to new restaurant openings results, maximizing unit-level economics (ULE) and return on investment (ROI).
● Successfully reinforces brand standards and quality standards based on in-restaurant observations; holds franchisees accountable for brand standards, ensuring correct operational procedures are followed; works with franchisees on timely resolution of compliance issues and fosters a culture of accountability.
● Proactively influences, develops plans and improves results related to under performing restaurants related to sales, profitability and/or growth.
● Acts as liaison between the company and the franchisee to leverage resources, promotes best practices and aligns business objectives.
● Provides consultation to continuously improve operational effectiveness, guest satisfaction, sales and profitability of assigned franchisees.
● Conducts operational assessments (OPR) on each location in assigned region bi-annually.
● Utilizes reporting and tracking tools to analyze results, identify trends and provide analysis and recommendations to franchisee.
● Provides support to franchisees to ensure successful new store openings.
● Builds strong relationships with franchisees based on candor, trust and results-orientation to promote brand satisfaction and confidence.
● Assists and validates successful rollout and integration of system-wide programs and initiatives.
● Provides timely, constructive feedback for performance improvement. Recognizes and celebrate franchisee’s accomplishments and contributions.
● Identifies training needs based upon operation performance / requirements and works to develop operationally sound action plans.
● Enables profitable unit level economics by providing ongoing tools and techniques related to sales, cost management and profitability.
● Supports, promotes, and executes against all initiatives, plans, events, and activities.
● Reviews store results and reports to provide appropriate analysis and recommendations to franchisees.
● Assists franchisees with local store marketing efforts in order to increase sales.

REQUIREMENTS
● Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
● Certificates, Licenses, Registrations. ServSafe Certification preferred.
● Able to drive from one location to another and at times take public transportation such as planes, trains and automobiles.
● Able to travel 75% of the time, with limited overnight travel.
● Demonstrate successful and consistent execution of financial plans / results.
