Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both staff and customers. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for training new employees and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily store operations, including inventory management and cash handling.
• Lead by example to motivate staff and enhance team performance.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement sales strategies and promotional activities.
• Conduct interviews for potential new hires, ensuring alignment with company values.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards to attract customers.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and assist in achieving sales goals.
• Negotiate with vendors regarding pricing and product availability as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in retail or store management is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse customer needs.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire a team.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems.
• Experience in sales techniques and strategies is advantageous.
