  • Associated Skin Care Specialists is seeking a HR Coordinator to assist the organization supporting all facets of HR. Will be a team member within the Administration department.

    Duties/ Responsibilities

    • Communicate and ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and government regulations regarding HR.
    • Processes bi-weekly payroll for employees
    • Manages employee benefit programs - including health, dental, life, COBRA, Flex, disability insurance, and 401K enrollments/changes. Communicates with physicians and organizational leaders regarding the administration of various benefit programs.
    • Manages open enrollment. Arranges for distribution of material from carriers, assists with communicating changes to employees and arranges for on-site representation. Processes changes within deadlines and maintains enrollment forms accordingly.
    • Administers FMLA and/or personal leave for employees.
    • Manages and updates employee data (EASE benefits platform and excel workbooks)
    • Conducts hiring process by coordinating job postings through various outlets, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews and performing reference checks. Coordinates and conducts orientation for new employees.
    • Prepares performance review and annual salary forms and monitors that reviews are being completed on a timely basis.
    • Reports workers compensation claims and acts as liaison between employee and insurance carrier. Reviews unemployment claims and completes appeals in a thorough and timely matter.
    • Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3 years of experience preferred
    • Solid understanding of human resource processes and knowledge (i.e., Employment Law, Government Regulations, Recruitment, Selection, and Retention)
    • Experience with payroll processing preferred
    • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to efficiently navigate various IT platforms
    • A high degree of organization and attention to detail will be an indispensable skill for this position
    • Ability to handle confidential information

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $26.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
