Human Resources Supervisor administers human resources policies and programs and directs the human resources staff in managing and implementing programs that support employee productivity and company objectives. Provides day-to-day oversight of various human resources functions critical to the organization, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, payroll, and employee records. Being a Human Resources Supervisor supervises and trains staff that provides operational and administrative support for recruiting, onboarding, and other hr functions and programs. Develops consistent and standard procedures to process employment, attendance, and other records and to ensure accuracy. Additionally, Human Resources Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Responsible for strategic and tactical aspects of the organizations Human Resource function in support of company growth and a one-team company culture. Role includes supporting management in talent attraction, retention, performance management, and development of employee engagement to drive business results. Advises managers on matters of Human Resource best practice. Manages employee relations and investigations and supports Supervisors with disciplinary, attendance, leave of absence, and termination guidance as needed. Applies consistent methods across the company in handling human resource matters in compliance with Employee Handbook, company policies and applicable employment laws.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology with specific training in human resource employment law, or commensurate experience in human resource profession. Includes ongoing continuing education in discipline.
2. Three - Six years work experience with automated third party HRIS
3. Knowledge and/ or experience in manufacturing and distribution industry preferred.
4. Well versed in HR disciplines: compensation, talent management, retention, employee relations, talent acquisition, etc.
5. Must have thorough understanding of federal and state employment and leave laws and their applicability.
6. Proven ability to plan, develop and implement strategic initiatives, benefits, programs and processes
7. Superior documentation, interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
8. Experience using critical evaluation and investigative methods
9. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, Adobe.
