Implementation Manager manages a team of implementation specialists responsible for installing and deploying technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. Ensures the team is following department policies and procedures. Being an Implementation Manager manages and supports multiple implementation projects. Assesses client's requirements, develops scopes and cost estimates, and creates project plans and schedules. Additionally, Implementation Manager ensures that implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. Responds to and resolves escalated client issues during or after implementations. Troubleshoots and recommends solutions to implementation problems or challenges. May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or assist in developing proposals. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of technical specialty. Typically reports to a director. POSITION OVERVIEW
This role will be a direct report to the Shared Services Portfolio Manager in the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). As a member of the EPMO team, the Senior Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the project management of initiatives being undertaken by Human Resources Teams. You will work closely with project teams (including HR and Technology SMEs , technology solution architects, Vendor / Integrators and industry SMEs) and key stakeholders to understand customer and user needs, resolve conflicts and remove barriers, and ensure deliverables are on-time and meet quality standards. This role will typically interface with a diverse mix of internal and vendor stakeholders, all working towards the goal of delivering a project on-time and at or under budget.
In addition to managing the projects, the PM is expected to manage any interdependencies between various projects and external teams needed to deliver our business goals. The role requires direct Project Management across multiple teams, stakeholders, and end users, and also requires performing business analysis, engaging with multiple business functions, and helping drive functional requirements for existing initiatives.
