Information Technology Auditor Manager manages audit projects of information systems, platforms, and operating procedures following established policies and standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Coordinates resources and deliverables for annual and ongoing evaluations of IT infrastructure and establishes controls and audit procedures to identify areas of risk or non-compliance. Being an Information Technology Auditor Manager evaluates audit results and recommend improvements in current risk management controls, system implementation, and upgrade processes. Develops staff capabilities and competencies with training and coaching that reflect IT auditing best practices. Additionally, Information Technology Auditor Manager communicates overall regulatory, compliance, or operational readiness assessment results and follow-up action items to stakeholders. Coordinates external audit projects and initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Information Technology Auditor Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Information Technology Auditor Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Description
    HRiA is seeking a passionate and experienced Information Technology Project Manager to join our dynamic technology team. This role is pivotal in managing internal IT projects with potential for some external technology projects that advance our mission. As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the development of technology solutions, including the enhancement of existing technologies and new platforms that support our diverse array of health equity initiatives.

    The Information Technology Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications. The role will manage project scope, schedule, resources, and risks while promoting a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating feedback into project planning and execution. The role will stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies that could benefit HRiAs mission.

    The ideal candidate should be able to use data and analytics to make informed decisions and take large technical details and boil them down into simple language. They will demonstrate deep knowledge and skills in change management, including the ability to convey difficult news about existing systems and help guide teams through transitions to new systems.

    Duties & Responsibilities
    Project Work
    • Manage assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
    • Set and track project milestones; manage and account for unforeseen delays, realign schedules and expectations as needed.
    • Establish and implement project communication plans, provide status updates to affected staff.
    • Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
    • Organize and manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
    • Develop and implement project plans that streamline HRiAs IT system and address current and future needs.
    • Collaborate with HRiAs technology vendors to incorporate changes to systems ensure projects are completed on-time and in-budget
    Management
    • Oversee vendors work in incorporating changes to technology systems
    • Build a continuous improvement environment by seeking out inefficiencies in both systems and processes.
    • Work with the technology team to ensure data security across all environments.
    • Work closely with the Director of Technology and other vendors to help craft and execute on the long term organization technology roadmap.
    Thought Leadership
    • Drive process and technology improvements across the organization from little connections to large system improvements
    • Work to ensure all HRiA systems are operating as efficiently as possible
    • Work to improve data security and compliance across the organization
    • Bring a vision of Health and Racial Equity into the IT/ Technology sphere
    Candidate Qualifications
    Required qualifications
    • Four or more years of experience as an IT Project Manager
    • Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in business, IT management, risk management, or related field
    • Experience running multiple IT projects with internal stakeholders and external vendors
    • Experience delivering projects that are on-time and on budget
    • Experience bringing systems improvements to an organization
    • Experience and comfort communicating at all levels of an organization including HRiAs senior and executive teams
    • Experience generating reports to support recommendations
    • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects (working both independently and cross-departmentally), problem solve, and to be solution-oriented.
    • Knowledge or willingness to learn about public health
    • Commitment to advancing health equity and racial equity.
    • Comfort working with stakeholders of diverse viewpoints and experiences
    Preferred
    • PMP certification or other relevant certifications
    • Experience working with remote teams
    • Experience managing and working with vendors
