Inside Sales Representative is responsible for an assigned territory or portfolio of customers to target for remote sales development calls. Coordinates with field sales team members to understand customers' unique needs and potential sales opportunities. Being an Inside Sales Representative reaches out to customers to promote new and existing products and services, offer special discounts and promotions, or provide essential account management services. Selects appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets. Additionally, Inside Sales Representative develops connections with customers and may conduct field visits. May participate in sales efforts as part of a larger team. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Inside Sales Representative work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.   • Position Summary

    This inside sales role is responsible for efficiently and effectively exceeding sales volume and profit objectives in telephone sales coverage through executing the sales plan(s) as directed from the Sales Manager.

    Qualified candidates will bring like-industry experience, excited to be a sales driver in an inside sales structured role.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Defines by account specific sales strategies and call objectives with Sales Manager.
    • Utilizes Professional Selling Skills focus in delivering strategic gains in sales relationships.
    • Completes an assigned number of proactive calls in prospecting new accounts.
    • Works with Marketing and Customer Service for pricing and availability needs.
    • Assists the Credit Department with collection of past due accounts.
    • Achieves sales volume expectations for their respective territory (territories) by working with existing customers and pro-actively searching out new business opportunities at current customers and prospective customers.
    • Documents and updates all information in the CRM database to keep strategy of account updated.
    • Establishes and develops rapport and professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel and identify the key decision maker(s).
    • Troubleshoot product problems and quality issues. Utilize Technical Service as needed.
    • Represents Mactac in a professional manner as a preferred supplier of pressure-sensitive materials and promote products for intended end uses primarily via the telephone.
    • Identifies and monitors customers' purchase potential and business direction. Prepares an annual sales plan for territory.
    • Maintains expert knowledge of how assigned Mactac products are used and displays the ability to troubleshoot minor customer problems independently.
    • Participates in trade shows and sales meetings.
    • Prepares assigned reports accurately and on time.
    • Works in conjunction with outside sales representatives to facilitate a strong customer support structure.
    • Works with Management Team to develop profitable effective corporate contracts.
    • Communicates product and pricing changes to assigned accounts in a timely manner.
    • Organizes, coordinates, and conducts customer sales presentations and/or customer visits.
    • Communicates competitive developments in his/her account base regarding marketing strategies, pricing structures or product performance and communicates intelligence to management.
    • Assists management in the preparation of sales forecasts. Reports account changes in a timely manner as part of the Business Plan.

    Selection Criteria:

    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Communications with 3 years of experience/training in sales is necessary. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
      • Trade shows, seminars or other publications will be beneficial.
    • Experience:
      • Industry experience required
      • Must be highly motivated with the ability to work independently while functioning within a team environment as well.
      • Effective communication skills to facilitate conversations with people of various backgrounds. This includes a strong ability to influence others while maintaining a positive interaction.
      • Experience utilizing CRM software programs like, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or ACT?
      • Familiarity with Pressure Sensitive industry terminology and manufacturing procedures
      • Strong administrative/organization skills
